A Thing With Feathers

This little sampler is inspired by an antique in our collection that was stitched in 1769 by little Miss Ann Duchemin and a poem by Emily Dickinson. Ann’s and Emily’s initials and the relevant dates are represented in cross stitch over one linen thread. We have also included an alphabet and numbers so that you can personalize this piece at will. The model was stitched on 46-count Through the Looking Glass linen by Tabby Cat Designs using the called-for Au Ver À Soie 100.3 silks.
