Anne Clarance 1810

Anne Clarance stitched her beautiful sampler when she was 9 or 10 years old. . The original sampler has some linen loss, and we have done our best to fill in the stitching where it was missing based on Anne’s stitching throughout the rest of the sampler. Anne has given us a beautiful pineapple border along with grape vine, carnation, and heart bands, along with several alphabets in various stitches. 

Our model was stitched by Kerry Babbitt on 46 count Desert Taipan linen by Fox & Rabbit using the called for Au Ver À Soie 100.3 threads.
