Autumn Harmony

I love the disparate elements of autumn. The crunch of fallen leaves juxtaposed with the softness of flannel shirts; the drab, brown acorns that set off the riot of yellow, orange, and red leaves; the chill in the air and the heat of the bon fire. As different as all of these elements are, they nonetheless harmonize to bring us the beauty that is Autumn. This pattern highlights some of these elements while showcasing the varied colors of hand dyed silks, which harmonize just as beautifully as autumn itself.

The model was stitched on 40-count Cow Fodder linen by Dames of the Needle using the called-for Thread Gatherer silks.
